Cookie and Other Tracker Management Policy

When using the website hub.v1.0.ad4health.com (whether the logged-in client area or the freely accessible Forecaster tool), cookies and other trackers (including local storage or "LocalStorage") may be placed on your device. A tracker is a file placed during your visit that allows, for the duration of its validity, your device or your journey to be identified during future visits.

Some trackers, or some uses of a given tracker, are strictly necessary for the website to function and do not require your consent. Other uses, in particular sending your journey data within the Forecaster tool to our servers for analysis purposes, are subject to your prior consent, collected via our cookie management banner (CMP – Consent Management Platform).

1. What is a tracker?

A cookie or tracker is a text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when visiting a website or using an application. It notably allows your device to be recognized and information about your browsing to be collected.

2. Trackers placed on the client area (Hub)

The client area, accessible after authentication, places only the session cookie strictly necessary for your authentication and connection security. No audience measurement, personalization, or behavioral tracking cookie is placed there.

These elements are trackers exempt from consent under CNIL guidelines, as they are strictly necessary for the technical functioning, display, and performance of the client area. They remain stored exclusively on your machine and are not used for audience measurement, personalization, or behavioral tracking purposes.

Your last login date is also automatically logged at the level of our hosting infrastructure (AWS), for security and technical traceability purposes. This is not a tracker placed on your device but a technical log kept server-side; this personal data processing is described in our Privacy Policy.

These elements, essential to the operation and security of the service, are exempt from consent in accordance with CNIL recommendations.

3. Trackers placed on the Forecaster tool

The Forecaster tool relies mainly on a single technical tracker, the "forecastData" local storage, the use of which is nevertheless split into two distinct purposes: one strictly necessary for the form to function, the other subject to your consent, as detailed below.

a) What is strictly necessary (not subject to consent)

  • "forecastData" local storage (LocalStorage). Purpose: to save, solely on your machine (your device), the fields and choices you enter by clicking on the various form elements, throughout the simulation steps. This local storage is essential to the proper functioning of the journey: it prevents you from losing your entries if you go back or reload the page. This data remains on your device and is not, at this stage, transmitted to any server. Retention period: the duration of your browsing session.
  • Language choice (cookie). Purpose: to save your language preference. Retention period: 1 year maximum.

b) What is subject to your consent (CMP)

  • Transmission and analysis of the simulation journey. Purpose: this does not concern the "forecastData" local storage as such, but rather sending its content to our servers throughout your journey (associated with a pseudonymous identifier, or your login identifier if you are already authenticated on the Hub) in order to analyze your interactions (steps followed, elements clicked, timestamps, number of occurrences), identify friction points, and improve the tool's usability. If you do not consent, the form continues to work normally locally; only this analytical transmission does not take place. Retention period: 13 months maximum from the collection of consent, in accordance with CNIL recommendations.

4. Collecting your consent on the Forecaster

On your first visit to the Forecaster tool, an information banner allows you to:

  • Accept all trackers;
  • Refuse trackers subject to consent, leaving only strictly necessary trackers active;
  • Customize your choices, category of tracker by category.

You can change your choice at any time via the "" link available in the website's footer. Your consent, like your refusal, is kept for a maximum period of 6 months, after which you will be asked again.

In the absence of consent to the transmission and analysis of your journey, the "forecastData" local storage continues to work normally (the form remains usable and your entries are not lost) and you will still be able to obtain your simulation results; only the statistical analysis of your journey by our teams will not be carried out.

5. Settings via your browser

Independently of our consent banner, you can configure your browser to accept or refuse the storage of cookies, except for those strictly necessary for browsing. Each browser's configuration is different and is generally described in its help menu. If disabled, some features of the Forecaster may be affected; AD4HEALTH disclaims any liability in this regard.
